Our company is looking for a Sales Representative to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Administration support for sales team and the National Sales Manager eg. reporting;
  • Building strong product knowledge and sales pipeline for growth;
  • Providing customers with technical information and support;
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services;
  • Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers in target regions;
  • Participates in trade shows and conventions as required;
  • Maintaining positive customer business relationships to ensure future sales;
  • Secure and renew orders, determine price within guidelines, arrange delivery dates and other matters to facilitate sales;
  • Providing excellent customer service at all times;
  • Complete ongoing merchandising and shelf management to ensure best representation of products;
  • Support Key National Accounts as required alongside the National Sales Manager;
  • Seek and convert new builder prospects;
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with account customers;
  • Scout the market for business prospects;
  • Generate Profitable sales from existing and new customers.

Requirements:

  • Develop and maximize your territory by focusing on strategic selling techniques and salon growth;
  • Building lasting relationships with key salons and account base within the area;
  • Previous Customer Service or Sales experience is essential;
  • Bachelors Degree desirable (Business, Science, Pharmacy, Health, Medicine or similar);
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely;
  • Strong sense of resilience and proactive work approach;
  • Have an interest in Workplace Health and Safety technology and a very good understanding of WHS principles;
  • A strong ability to understand prospective client’s requirements and offer applicable and innovative solutions;
  • Able to travel nationally as required;
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the homewares/wholesale/ florist industry;
  • Basic Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook skills;
  • Extraordinary customer service skills;
  • Ability to up-sell products;
  • PV Solar Sales experience preferred but not required, however, a great attitude and work ethic is a must;
  • The ability to work autonomously and self-motivated.
