Service Coordinator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Service Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Having a strong presence on site and providing guidance and support to team leaders and staff;
- Ensuring consistent and compliant service delivery including training of staff;
- Administrative duties such as NDIS reporting, data collection, ensuring training compliance, roster reviews etc;
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders;
- General administration;
- Communicate effectively with Installers and Service Technicians;
- Support all team members and departments when required;
- Invoicing and secure processing of payments;
- Maintain the brand of the organisation by ensuring all services are scheduled with accuracy and precision;
- Stock allocation post-service;
- Ensure staff are scheduled to meet client needs and preferences;
- Support Home Care’s strategic growth plan;
- Daily contact with our Care employees, providing prompt and positive customer service and direction;
- Taking inbound calls;
- Assigning work to subcontractors and service technicians.
Requirements:
- Computer literacy, in particular proficiency with Microsoft programs;
- 2+ Years’ experience in a similar role;
- Demonstrated experience working with people with disability, including supporting people in a residential setting;
- Previous experience in supporting, planning and set up of new services or project managing complex change processes is desirable;
- Previous experience in supporting, planning and setting up new services;
- Tertiary qualification in Social Science, Health or other relevant professional field is highly desirable;
- A tertiary qualification within Social Care, Psychology or Counselling would be beneficial;
- Experience working in a residential environment desirable;
- Experience with rostering systems would be advantageous, but not essential;
- Demonstrated experience working with people with a disability, including supporting people in a residential experience;
- In-depth knowledge of the disability sector including NDIS funding, SIL quotes, and the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework.
