Our company is looking for a Business Analyst – Finance to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Development of budget templates;
- Support the strategy planning process, Market, Competitive and Pricing Analysis;
- Reconciliations;
- Gross Margin Analysis;
- Ad-hoc duties as required;
- Commercially focused analysis;
- Financial modelling;
- Prepare sound financial analysis and report on the findings;
- Implementing processes and procedures;
- Provide ad hoc support to Stores Operations demonstrating your business partnering skills;
- Liaise and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- Identify areas for process improvement;
- Define solutions to automate and improve reporting using systems such as Foods Connected, Quintiq, Tableau and Google Cloud Platform;
- Preparation of monthly reporting pack including consolidation of financials and key metrics, analysis, insights and commentary;
- Apply initiative & solution orientated approach with commitment to improve ways of working.
Requirements:
- High proficiency in excel;
- Available within 2 weeks notice;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player with strong people engagement;
- Demonstrated experience in building strong internal relationships;
- Business partnering skills;
- Ability to critically evaluate proposals and opportunities and offer commercial judgments;
- Member of CPA Australia or Institute of Chartered Accountants or equivalent;
- Solid Financial knowledge;
- Financial analysis and modelling skills;
- Tertiary level qualifications in Finance or Accounting discipline;
- Problem solving skills;
- Demonstrable experience in a BA role;
- Demonstrated application of commercial acumen;
- Flexible & someone who will think outside the box to find solutions.
