Senior Finance Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Managing intercompany transactions including preparing PO/invoice template and transactions schedule with intercompany/related entities;
- Preparing the annual budget and forecasts for Corporate cost centres;
- Support and mentor Finance Analysts in their daily tasks;
- Month end close tasks to ensure compliance with deadlines;
- Manage a range of finance projects;
- Ad-hoc preparation of board reports;
- Liaise and build relationships with stakeholders throughout the business;
- Supporting the project lead and operational stakeholders with building financial models;
- Preparation and collation of documentation to support annual audit requirements;
- Supporting analysis around financial platform performance;
- Preparing Board and Management reporting packs;
- Deliver cost effective and high-quality service to residents;
- Provide financial analysis to support strategic and growth initiatives;
- Provide financial analysis and strategic advice;
- Budgeting.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Accounting/Commerce or a related discipline;
- Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines;
- Proactive and receptive to learning new processes and change management;
- Demonstrable experience in working with and influencing multiple stakeholders within a matrix organisational structure;
- Demonstrated communication skills both written and verbal;
- Demonstrated management and organisational skills;
- Sound computer skills with advanced MS office and excel skills;
- Advanced analytical skills;
- Minimum four years’ experience in a similar role;
- SAP and BPC, Power BI experience preferred but not mandatory;
- CPA/CA qualified.
