Our company is looking for a Finance Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for investigating and identifying key issues and gaps in business performance;
- Drive operational and financial strategy to ensure the achievement of the annual budget;
- Provide input to Management, Board and Audit papers;
- Managing annual statutory accounts preparation, ensuring provisions for any changes to relevant financial standards;
- Oversee and manage the Payroll Process;
- Inventory Management;
- Assisting with process improvement projects on an ad hoc basis;
- Fixed Assets management;
- Processing payroll and all month-end reconciliation including PAYG, Payroll, Superannuation and Tax;
- Liaising with other business units within the corporate office to advise on appropriate accounting treatment of significant transactions;
- Establish positive relationships with business stakeholders;
- Annual budgeting and forecasting;
- Interpret property leases and maintain key terms schedule;
- Maintain and improve financial models;
- Development and management of cashflow to ensure sufficient business funding.
Requirements:
- Management of a high performing finance team;
- Strategic recommendations to members of executive management;
- Financial management information systems;
- Monthly management accounts;
- Experience using Xero;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Forward-thinking ability to work under pressure and with deadlines;
- Demonstrated stability in previous roles;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role;
- Experience in currency trading;
- Professional certification in accounting or studying towards – CA or CPA;
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity;
- Excellent command of English, ability in Mandarin is preferred;
- MYOB Qualified;
- Proven experience in a similar role.
