Our company is looking for a Electrical Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete electrical engineering design, from component selection to testing and installation;
  • Client requires minimum baseline security clearance;
  • Verifying effectiveness of maintenance plans (SAP);
  • ASAP start for 12 month contract with option for permanency;
  • Managing inventory and communicating with suppliers to order materials;
  • Developing and interpreting electrical design documentation, including electrical and control system layouts, specifications, scopes of work, etc;
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation in accordance to company policy;
  • Development and review of Scopes of Work documents including HV submissions, technical specifications and data sheets;
  • Delivering electrical engineering services, including assembling and installing electrical components and solar energy systems;
  • Ensure designs comply with Australian OH&S standards;
  • Optimizing equipment maintenance strategies;
  • Estimating and costing project requirements;
  • Providing technical advice and solutions to design and construction queries and making recommendations;
  • Use of ETAP, CDEGS, PowerCAD, SKM Powertools, EMTP software;
  • Electrical design experience.

Requirements:

  • Client requires minimum baseline security clearance;

  • Oil & Gas industry experience, ideally Onshore assets;
  • Site experience;
  • Australian experience;
  • Data Centres;
  • Experience in HV infrastructure and reticulation design;
  • New commercial buildings;
  • Be able to work autonomously and with other team members;
  • General Lighting, Power, Communications;
  • Protection Systems;
  • Health Facilities;
  • Procurement, construction and commissioning understanding;
  • Generator Systems;
  • EPCM Engineering office experience.
