Mechanical plumber Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Mechanical plumber to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Installation of Gas fired hot water units;
- Installation of various types of Hydronic heating systems;
- Installation of mechanical plumbing services;
- Assemble and install mechanical services, plant, air handling and conditioning equipment and smallbore heating systems;
- Fabricate and install metal duct work systems, including flexible ducted;
- Design and make recommendations to builders to achieve the highest efficiency from a mechanical system;
- Installation of mechanical heat pumps;
- Installation of Hydronic Heating Boilers;
- Monitor and order materials and plumbing equipment to complete company’s projects efficiently;
- Co-ordinating the day to day activities specifically installing mechanical plumbing systems;
- Service Hydronic boilers and systems;
- Checking plans, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of mechanical plumbing systems and all materials required;
- Installing gas appliances, flues and pressure regulating devices.
Requirements:
- Relevant Pluming Qualification;
- 6+ years in the industry;
- Registered with VBA – Mechanical services.
