Our company is looking for a Civil Labourer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Shovelling and hand digging;
- Truck driving;
- Chainsaw Operation (Tree clearing on roadways);
- General civil labouring duties;
- Ensuring a safe workplace for your team and members of the public;
- Traffic management;
- Spotting machines;
- Road works – asphalt, concreting, paving;
- Reading laser levels;
- Hand held machine use – quick cuts, compactors;
- Driving of vehicles to and from site;
- General infrastructure maintenance & repairs;
- Taking direction from supervisors;
- Assisting pipe laying.
Requirements:
- Working at Heights;
- Physically fit;
- Desirable certifications (Preferred not essential);
- HR Truck License – Desirable;
- Chipper experience – Desirable;
- Cert 3 – Civil Construction;
- White card (essential);
- Tickets to operate plant such as Skid Steer / Grader / Excavator – Desirable;
- Experienced within the Civil Industry;
- Working in Confined Spaces;
- Good working attitude.
