Our company is looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain industry specific custom reports;
  • Support end-user requirements in special projects;
  • Act as a point of escalation for opportunities with existing clients;
  • Lead efforts in expanding support and capabilities of the product in Australia;
  • Learn and maintain technical knowledge of the Geotab ecosystem;
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining new Geotab products;
  • Participate and lead engineering product and integration projects;
  • Attend regular check-in meetings (virtual and in-person) with Solutions Engineering team based out of HQ;
  • Manage third-party and Marketplace integrations;
  • Manage pilot programs for new potential customers;
  • Strategizing with our Sales Reps on how to best work together to ensure Alfresco’s success;
  • Contributing to the achievement of regional and team booking targets as defined by the VP of Sales, Americas;
  • Answering customer inquiries concerning system software and applications, and providing software development and consultation to prospective users;
  • Evangelizing our cloud ready platform with customers;
  • Building and presenting the Business and Technical value around Alfresco solutions for our customers.

Requirements:

  • Mentor developing team members;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field of study;
  • Intermediate level solution sales ability;
  • In-depth knowledge of “traditional” voice communications systems and applications;
  • Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent;
  • SaaS Collaboration sales experience i.e. web conferencing, cloud voice, UCaaS;
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the telephony and software applications industry;
  • Formulate and communicate a technical solution / vision;
  • 3+ years experience in a technical sales or engineering support position;
  • Ability to apply IT Systems knowledge to customer solution design;
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills;
  • Act as a leader when the situation warrants;
  • Technical experience using SQL, C#, JavaScript or Google BigQuery an asset;
  • 10+ years of technical experience in Collaboration technologies.
