Our company is looking for a Procurement Solutions Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Providing SME advice to ensure that systems drive compliance to Optus procurement policies and processes;
- Being the first point of contact for all procurement solutions questions and queries;
- Providing business administration support for procurement systems;
- Procurement Policy and Process Management;
- Supporting Internal Customers overcome process obstacles and identify continuous improvement opportunities;
- Providing SME advice and training to procurement and business on use of procurement systems;
- Supporting the implementation of new procurement systems, including the current Ariba buying and invoicing implementation.
Requirements:
- Providing SME advice to ensure that systems drive compliance to Optus procurement policies and processes;
- Understanding of general IT implementation requirements for procurement systems;
- Knowledge of SAP Ariba downstream and upstream modules, and SAP ECC;
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint experience;
- Experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain;
- Providing business administration support for procurement systems;
- Being the first point of contact for all procurement solutions questions and queries;
- Procurement Policy and Process Management;
- Supporting the implementation of new procurement systems, including the current Ariba buying and invoicing implementation;
- Providing SME advice and training to procurement and business on use of procurement systems;
- At least 3+ years’ experience in a similar role and/or business administration / implementation position;
- Proven previous experience and expert knowledge with SAP Ariba is essential;
- Supporting Internal Customers overcome process obstacles and identify continuous improvement opportunities;
- Flexibility to handle conflicting priorities and balance demands on time;
- Ability to work with the end user to gather and interpret requirements effectively.
