Buyer – Accessories & Footwear Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Buyer – Accessories & Footwear to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Submit monthly snapshot reports;
- Closely monitor all deliverables, to ensure that stock is received on time and in correct quantities;
- Appropriately spend OTB each month, in line with opening and closing SOH targets;
- Lead, Source and Develop Footwear & Accessories in line with company option targets;
- Identify and act on trends that are relevant to the Princess Polly Customer;
- Drive growth of department sales margin dollars, based on sales from previous months;
- Increase minimum margin dollar for departments to a minimum of 60% for all new styles (unless approved otherwise);
- Maintain strong relationships with the Buying team, Marketing team, and external suppliers;
- Report on range performance to suppliers when requested;
- Action specific daily sales reporting and analysis sales information.
Requirements:
- Have a great eye for our product and what sets us apart;
- Have 3+ years’ experience as a Buyer – Accessories & Footwear highly desirable;
- A creative eye – highly skilled at sourcing and developing footwear & accessories;
- Know and love our brand & product, connecting with our customer;
- Great communication and relationship building skills;
- Be fashion-forward & trend-focused;
- Ability to run your category autonomously.
