Workshop Supervisor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Workshop Supervisor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervisor with monitoring and guiding improvements in work performance;
- Lead a small multi skilled team;
- Assist with the repairs, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical control panels and circuit boards in accordance with the regulations;
- ensuring electrical installations and equipment are in accordance with Australian Standard AS/NZS 3000 Electrical installations;
- Accurate completion of all paperwork and systems associated with fleet maintenance and repair;
- Ensuring all the staff members in the workshop are completing work in a safe and efficient manner in line with company standards;
- Supervise servicing of vehicles in line with company servicing schedule;
- Leading by example and give guidance on technical problems;
- compliance with electrical codes and adherence to safety regulations;
- Assisting the Service Manager in day-to-day workshop management;
- Assist with Mentoring others;
- Liaising with clients;
- Supervise all Coffs Harbour workshop staff on the floor with 80% floor based work and 20% office work;
- Working on the tools;
- Ability to develop, manufacture, assemble and install from drawings.
Requirements:
- Licenced Trade qualified electrician – NSW;
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills;
- Excellent fault finding and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to manage a small team;
- Leadership skills;
- 8 years post trade experience a minimum.
