Maintenance Supervisor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Maintenance Manager to oversee the general contractor and subcontractors to ensure quality work is performed cost effectively;
- Models a focus on continuous improvement by actively raising and promoting opportunities for the factory;
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned;
- Ensure good relationships are built with internal and external customers;
- Ensures spare parts are sourced and maintained;
- Coordinates all workshop and maintenance activities ensuring that all maintenance personnel are assigned specific tasks and responsibilities;
- Completes risk assessments for non-routine tasks as required to ensure safe operations;
- Perform daily checks around the hotel;
- Ensures that maintenance personnel are working in compliance with workplace safety and environmental requirements;
- Responsible for the health and safety of the hotel;
- Provides leadership and mentoring to trades team to support a proactive culture;
- Works closely with the Maintenance Planner (located remotely in Newcastle) to ensure maintenance plans are updated and executed using MEX;
- Actively promotes continuous improvement through machine availability improvements and the elimination of waste;
- Help customers with issues, build relationships with them;
- Manage works through to completion.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in building management/maintenance;
- Previous supervisory experience;
- Ability to work on their own;
- Positive attitude;
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service;
- Good communication skills;
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations;
- Excellent grooming standards;
- Ability to work under pressure.
