Our company is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Asset reliability improvements; identifying key triggers within the asset lifecycle;
  • Managing all repairs and maintenance to facilities, grounds and rooms maintenance and waste management;
  • Lead capital expenditure initiatives with clear business case for ROI and/or improvement possibilities;
  • Using OEE and RCA data to identify process and equipment improvement opportunities;
  • Liaising with trades people to resolve maintenance issues in the most efficient and cost effective manner;
  • Project management, safe and on time execution of all projects including relevant post project audits to ensure deliverables are achieved;
  • Drive safety by ensuring site and equipment safety concerns are actioned;
  • Development of continuous improvement initiatives to focus on improving the bottom line;
  • Identifying areas to maximise profit and minimize cost in relation to maintenance tasks; and;
  • Lead and develop preventative maintenance programs to a high level of execution;
  • High-quality technical support for internal and external stakeholders;
  • Assist guests with all queries and complaints, and provides accurate information to guests; about the property facilities and features;
  • Achieve CAPEX and R&M budget targets;
  • Planned and reactive maintenance – complete all planned works that are agreed manually whilst also repairing any immediate requirements that arise;
  • Work alongside the Northside Group’s preferred suppliers where relevant and ensuring all work carried out by a contractor is within the planned budget.

Requirements:

  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions;
  • A passion for continuous improvement and leadership within all functions of operations;
  • Ability to lead by example with the drive and ambition to do what it takes to lead a team to high performance;
  • Experience managing heavy earth moving fleet across multiple sites;
  • Provide site support where required;
  • Trade or mechanical engineering degree;
  • Coordinate offsite repairs on fleet and components;
  • Project manage asset and fleet mobilisations;
  • Drive continuous improvement across all areas;
  • Significant open cut maintenance experience working at management level with a strong client relationship focus;
  • Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems, with a preference for MAXIMO;
  • Grow and manage the NSW Thiess operations management system (OMS) labour pool;
  • Develop, present and maintain budgets;
  • A strong people focus with the ability to drive a high performing team and build strong relationships on all levels of the organisation;
  • Have a safety mindset and experience using permit to work, JSEAs, SWMS, and HAZOP.
