The Forklift Driver is responsible for maintaining inventory and for production area cleanliness. Operates fork lifts to stack and retrieve goods, supplies and materials. Being a Forklift Driver typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Documents and maintains inventory records. In addition, Forklift Driver typically reports to a supervisor. Being a Forklift Driver possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.

Responsibilities:
- General warehouse duties – labelling, replenish, loading, unloading, & stocktake;
- Forklift Operating (LF and/or HR);
- Picking & Packing of various products;
- RF Scanning;
- stacking and strapping pipes;
- Loading/unloading trucks and other vehicles;
- Store the goods in appropriate places in manufacturing or in the warehouse;
- Operating a Counter Balance Forklift;
- Picking & Packing of customer orders;
- Load and unload goods from trucks using forklift and other material handling equipment;
- Moving long loads in the YARD;
- Picking/Packing stock;
- Assisting with other warehouse related tasks when needed – we work as a team;
- Machine operating;
- General storeman duties.
Requirements:
- Loading and Unloading of trucks with a forklift;
- Our client requires someone who is reliable, punctual, flexible and committed;
- Minimum of 6 months experience operating a Forklift;
- Police Clearance Required (or willing to obtain);
- Minimum 6 months in a physically demanding role;
- Asbestos awareness training;
- Forklift Licence;
- Previous experience driving a Forklift;
- White card.
