Technical Business Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Work with technical and business teams on data conversion and data integration activities;
- ETL using SQL;
- maturing the platforms operations monitoring and log analytics capabilities;
- Manage and prioritize project tasks and deliverables;
- Write technical stories for development/devops ( so must have knowledge of Java development / AWS);
- Be the bridge between our clients and our offshore teams. Help define solutions, discover the details, and facilitate delivery;
- Run workshops as required to gather requirements;
- Integration and Cloud BA;
- Work with Solution designers to augment the business requirements to pieces of work;
- Produce project management artefacts, business and system requirements, analysis & design artefacts and test documentation;
- Preparing use cases, work in agile environment;
- Jira and Confluence;
- Support developers/vendors throughout the entire cycle and act as a liaison between them and end-users for any issues and queries;
- Gather, analyse, and define business and system requirements;
- assisting customers with data-related technical issues and providing face to face training.
Requirements:
- Be highly consultative in your approach;
- Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities to be able to speak to both technical developers and senior leaders;
- At least 10 years of System/Business Analysis experience;
- Ideally an application development background;
- A proactive and pragmatic approach to work;
- Work with Product Owners to define user stories ready for dev team;
- Data and System Migration experience;
- Develop Acceptance Criteria and Test Scenarios against defined functional requirements;
- Excellent Business Requirement facilitation skills;
- Reviewing and evaluating the detailed design documentation which is to be produced by the vendor to ensure accuracy,
- Document end to end processes and data flows that support the Telephony solution;
- Experience with AWS;
- Agile experience – ability to write user stories;
- Strong background in Agile methodologies or SDLC;
- The ability to manage multiple complex tasks at any given time.
