Automation QA Engineer (QVAC)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate test failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product teams on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk and maintain regression suites.

Requirements

• Require 4+ years of QA automation experience plus hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.
• Require strong programming skills in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Require experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines, such as with GitHub Actions.
• Require hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop or web testing and WebdriverIO plus Appium for mobile testing.
• Require experience testing Electron and/or React Native applications, including on real iOS and Android devices.
• Require experience using AI tools in QA and critically reviewing their output.
• Testing AI-powered applications is a preferred qualification.
