Your new Company:



 
Is a vertically integrated data centre operator that owns and operates high-performance computing infrastructure powered by 100% renewable energy. They are focused on providing sustainable AI Cloud services and high-performance computing (HPC). They control the entire process, from land acquisition and grid connections to data centre construction and hardware management.




Your new role:




Reporting to the head of development and construction you will lead development activities for a portfolio of Data Centres. As part of the project execution capability, you will oversee Development Approval processes, Grid connection, project development, environmental compliance, community engagement, and efficient handover to construction. You will be responsible for:

• Managing development approval pathways in accordance with development and permitting requirements.
• Acting as the primary coordinator for the project’s grid connection, bridging the gap between technical engineering requirements and commercial feasibility whilst managing relationships with key utility partners.
• Monitoring environment compliances from development activities and project execution.
• Conducting stakeholder management as well as subcontractor and external service provider management to ensure compliance with planning and development approval obligations and contractual requirements.
• Managing financial aspects, as per delegated authority, of projects during the development phase.

Who you are:



 
10-15 years’ experience in project development, connections and development approvals. You have worked on the large-scale infrastructure development in either energy, mining, resources, or other heavy industry, up to and including handover to construction. You have managed projects, and you also have knowledge of planning laws, local government functions and the renewable energy industry.
