Business Development Manager – Global ICT and Digital Consultancy

The Role

The Business Development Manager is to drive client growth and establish high-quality ICT delivery relationships with a particular focus on time-and-materials and workforce augmentation demand in the Western Australian market.

This revenue focused consulting opportunity is suited to a sales or business development professional looking to advance their career in ICT services.

Responsibilities

• Consulting - lead client discovery conversations to understand business requirements, workforce challenges, project needs, and commercial drivers.
• Time and Materials and workforce augmentation - support client workforce and services growth through time-and-materials workforce augmentation demand and expanded service engagement across new and existing clients.
• Account Management growth - proactively expand relationships across existing accounts including hiring managers, project teams, procurement teams, and technology stakeholders.
• New Business development - identify and pursue new business opportunities across mid-market and enterprise organisations.
• Pipeline - build a sustainable pipeline through targeted outreach, networking, referrals, and market engagement.
• Forecasting - maintain disciplined funnel management, accurate forecasting, and strong CRM discipline to support visibility of pipeline, conversion, and revenue performance.
• Commercial - lead proposal development, pricing inputs, and Statements of Work in collaboration with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, and practice leaders. Support commercial discussions, including rate negotiation, margin management, renewals, extensions, and contract-related considerations.
• Onboarding - help secure initial client engagements and support a smooth transition from sales into onboarding and delivery.
• Stakeholder engagement - work collaboratively with senior account, practice, recruitment, and delivery leaders to maintain strong client relationships and service quality.
• Customer experience - build repeatable, sustainable client partnerships by delivering a high-quality client experience and maintaining a customer-centric approach.

Requirements

• They will bring 4–10 years’ experience across business development, recruitment, technology services, ICT consulting, workforce solutions, or a closely related professional services environment.
• The successful candidate will have strong capability in communication, relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and understanding client requirements.
• The ideal candidate will have proven ability to generate pipeline, convert opportunities, develop client accounts, and work effectively within collaborative, multi-stakeholder environments.
• They will also demonstrate initiative and strong commercial discipline, including revenue and gross margin focus, accurate forecasting, CRM proficiency driving client growth and demand through new business and extensions.
