Technical Workshop Manager

About the Opportunity 

We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Technical Workshop Manager to join our team at  Fulcrum Coopers Plains .

In this role, you’ll:

• Lead and manage day-to-day workshop operations

• Supervise and support a small technical team

• Perform fabrication, machining, welding, and workshop-based manufacturing work

• Support warranty repairs and technical problem solving

• Work closely with Engineering and Product teams on product improvements and prototype development

• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and workshop organisation

This is a workshop-focused leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys staying hands-on while mentoring others and driving technical excellence.

About You 

You could be a great fit if you:

• Are trade-qualified in Engineering, Fitting & Turning, or similar

• Have strong fabrication, machining, and welding experience (MIG/TIG preferred)

• Have experience working with suspension systems, shock absorbers, or automotive manufacturing

• Enjoy solving technical challenges and finding practical solutions

• Can lead a small team while maintaining a strong hands-on presence

• Take pride in quality workmanship and workshop safety

• Experience in automotive aftermarket, prototype development, or motorsport environments will be highly regarded.
