Position : Supply Chain Management (SCM) Business Analyst

An opportunity has arisen for a skilled SCM Business Analyst to join a dynamic team within a prominent retail chain. In this role, the selected candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, translate requirements, and coordinate the implementation of solutions aimed at optimizing supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead workshops with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and document business requirements.
Collaborate with IT leaders and the D365 team to translate business requirements into technical specifications within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.
Model business processes, identify areas for optimization, and evaluate the impact of proposed solutions.
Gather, validate, and document business requirements, conducting thorough requirements analysis.
Develop functional specifications for solutions, oversee testing and implementation, and provide end-user training.
Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

About the Candidate:

A proactive self-starter who excels in autonomous roles.
3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a similar retail environment.
Skilled at bridging the gap between business and technical teams.
A keen eye for identifying issues and opportunities early on, with a passion for contributing ideas to the team.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Required Skills:

Strong end-to-end Business Analysis experience.
Experience collaborating with software development teams.
Proficiency in preparing User Stories, Test scripts/cases, and conducting testing.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as DevOps, Confluence, Jira, and Zephyr.
Experience in process mapping and planning.
Proficient in supply chain management principles, including inventory optimization, demand planning, logistics, and production management.
Strong analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions for supply chain operations.
Experience creating and maintaining documentation and training materials for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.
Preferably experienced with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems in supply chain management modules.

Hybrid (3 days a week in office)
Located in Homebush/Olympic Park area
$120-130K+Super
