We are currently seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating excavators ranging from 5-8 tonnes, with occasional operation of up to 20-tonne machines for larger projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects within 12km of Adelaide's CBD.

$43-48/hr

Key Responsibilities:

Operate excavators efficiently and safely in accordance with project requirements.
Perform tasks including but not limited to excavation, trenching, grading, and material handling.
Assist with on-site labor tasks such as shoveling, lifting, and manual labor as when required.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Excavator Operator, preferably in a construction or civil engineering environment.
Valid Excavator Operator license or certification.
Ability to operate excavators ranging from 5-8 tonnes, with experience operating up to 20-tonne machines preferred.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
Physically fit and able to perform manual labor tasks as needed.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
