Hays Recruitment have partnered with an exciting company, who are one of the leading Manufacturer of polymers in Geelong.

Your new role

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the plant and equipment to produce products to customer order and for maintenance of inventory.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Ensuring that all tasks in the plant are performed in a safe manner.
Ensuring that safe work practises are followed at all times by subordinate staff.
Ensuring that company policies are implemented and monitored within the facility.
Supervision of various operational staff, the warehouse staff, the production planner, and the clerical staff responsible for raw material procurement.
Continuous improvement of production processes through agreed modifications to the plant and operating procedures.
Implementing company policies within the plant.
Ensure that all legal requirements for operation of the plant are met.
Ensure that the environment plan for plant is adhered to.
Meeting corporate financial goals of cost minimisation through effective management of raw material flows and cost-effective supply chain
Tasks as directed by management from time to time.

What you'll need to succeed

Experience managing a manufacturing site
Strong health and safety knowledge

What you'll get in return

Remuneration between $140K-$160K + Super
