Our company is looking for a Truck Driver to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Inward goods receiving;
- Communicating with site contacts;
- Picking orders for delivery/pick up;
- Forklift operation;
- Delivering orders to site (manual handling);
- Delivering steel from our Central Coast location in Charmhaven to sites in Sydney and Newcastle;
- Completing all records and paperwork accurately, as directed and required;
- Vehicle presentation;
- Good knowledge of the metro and surrounding regional areas;
- Excellent time management and organisational skills;
- Complying with all relevant company’s Management rules, regulations and training;
- Safe operation of vehicles;
- A professional manner and presentation;
- Loading and Unloading Vehicles;
- Loading, unloading and securing of steel.
Requirements:
- Dogman/Rigger licence;
- Minimum HR Unrestricted Licence;
- General Cartage Experience;
- Be physically able;
- Be involved in every aspect of driving a truck;
- Can do attitude;
- WorkSafe CV licence – Vehicle Loading Crane 10 metre tonne;
- Timber Industry knowledge;
- Hiab experience;
- Be willing to work both locally and in rural locations;
- White card;
- Unrestricted HC Licence;
- Attention to detail and good time management skills;
- Enjoys a varied work schedule;
- Welding and Mechanical experience.
