Forklift Operator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Forklift Operator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Basic warehouse duties;
- Ensuring dispatched items are accurate;
- Completing required paperwork for dispatch;
- Conducting quality checks;
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time;
- Loading and unloading trucks.
Requirements:
- National police clearance – within 6 months old (or be able to obtain one);
- Sorting delivery paperwork (completion of con notes);
- Restraining your own loads;
- Understanding of scanning systems;
- Assisting other members of the team with various duties when required;
- Load restraint knowledge;
- WA driver’s licence & reliable transport;
- Transport experience with excellent forklift skills;
- Current High Risk ‘LF’ forklift licence;
- All aspects of front-end loader operation;
- Loading / unloading of trucks and trailers with both palletised and ugly freight;
- Pallets & packing;
- Receivables & dispatch;
- Operation of large forklifts and/or reach stacker.
