Turret Punch Operator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Turret Punch Operator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Loading the Turret Punch by hand or via forklift and monitoring the machine in operation as well as removing completed jobs from the unit;
- Daily Maintenance & Prestart Checks of the Turret Punch Machine;
- Measuring & Cutting steel Sheet, Structural or Pipe;
- Programming, Configuring or Transferring Programs or Plans onto the Turret Punch unit for production runs;
- Ensuring all Tools & Dies are inspected regularly and are well maintained;
- Preparing pipe for coded welders using beveling machine or grinders;
- Calculating materials and quantities from manufacturing specifications and plans;
- Preparing steel for welding;
- Scheduling & Planning your daily tasks and production runs;
- MIG Welding Tacking or Full Runs;
- Completing daily production and job sheets either hard copy or electronic;
- Reviewing 2D & 3D plans and specifications of components to be manufactured in the Turret Punch unit.
Requirements:
- + Standard Leave Entitlements Holiday & Sick Leave;
- + Profit Share Monthly Bonus Scheme – estimated between 5K to 7K per anum;
- + Over Time Hourly Rates;
- MIG Welding Tacking or Full Runs;
- Measuring & Cutting steel Sheet, Structural or Pipe;
- Preparing pipe for coded welders using beveling machine or grinders;
- Preparing steel for welding.
