Our company is looking for a Turret Punch Operator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Loading the Turret Punch by hand or via forklift and monitoring the machine in operation as well as removing completed jobs from the unit;
  • Daily Maintenance & Prestart Checks of the Turret Punch Machine;
  • Measuring & Cutting steel Sheet, Structural or Pipe;
  • Programming, Configuring or Transferring Programs or Plans onto the Turret Punch unit for production runs;
  • Ensuring all Tools & Dies are inspected regularly and are well maintained;
  • Preparing pipe for coded welders using beveling machine or grinders;
  • Calculating materials and quantities from manufacturing specifications and plans;
  • Preparing steel for welding;
  • Scheduling & Planning your daily tasks and production runs;
  • MIG Welding Tacking or Full Runs;
  • Completing daily production and job sheets either hard copy or electronic;
  • Reviewing 2D & 3D plans and specifications of components to be manufactured in the Turret Punch unit.

Requirements:

  • + Standard Leave Entitlements Holiday & Sick Leave;
  • + Profit Share Monthly Bonus Scheme – estimated between 5K to 7K per anum;
  • + Over Time Hourly Rates;
  • MIG Welding Tacking or Full Runs;
  • Measuring & Cutting steel Sheet, Structural or Pipe;
  • Preparing pipe for coded welders using beveling machine or grinders;
  • Preparing steel for welding.
