Our company is looking for a Trade Sales Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Dock or machine timber;
  • Maintain correct stock tickets;
  • Manage stock levels, minimise shrinkage and stock loss;
  • Deliveries;
  • Perform stock refill;
  • Liaise and build relationships with suppliers;
  • Build relationships with customers and be able to identify their needs;
  • Prepare customer quotes;
  • Adhere to administrative requirements;
  • WHS and housekeeping;
  • Provide GREAT service and advise customers on products and service.

Requirements:

  • Forklift Licence (desirable);
  • Well-developed written and verbal skills;
  • The ability to set and maintain procedures and workflows;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly;
  • Excellent time management ability;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to work within a team;
  • Knowledge of timber and building supplies products;
  • Ability to identify and prioritise requirements;
  • Excellent computer skills;
  • Current drivers licence required;
  • Strong understanding of WHS requirements;
  • Sales and trade background.
