Our company is looking for a Service Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with customers;
  • Providing leadership, direction and training to apprentices;
  • Managing and supervising staff to ensure assigned work confirms to quality, time and productivity guidelines;
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workplace;
  • Working together with the Operations Manager to make sure the business runs as efficiently as possible;
  • Day to day management of the service department;
  • Ensuring smooth running of the day-to-day in the service department;
  • Directing tradesmen;
  • Managing Technicians and a decent sized team;
  • Prioritising and communicating with staff;
  • Working closely with your staff;
  • Organise & improve workflow;
  • Liaising with customers and looking after any paperwork;
  • Build strong working relationships with customers;
  • Ensuring safe and efficient workflow.

Requirements:

  • An aptitude for analysing information and making strategic decisions;
  • Resilience in dealing with and helping team members deal with complex insurance claims;
  • Someone who has the energy and attention to detail to be a supportive people leader;
  • Strong customer service and people skills;
  • Allied health background (not essential but desirable);
  • Be able to effectively coach, mentor and develop team members;
  • Experience leading a team – knowledge and experience in Workers Compensation and case management;
  • Current Working with Children Card;
  • Good knowledge of the Early Years Learning and National Quality Framework including experience with the Assessment and Rating process;
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and or Early childhood teaching degree;
  • National Police Check.
