Our company is looking for a Senior Payroll Officer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing payroll in accordance to various EBA’s;
  • Importing, reviewing and checking timesheet transactions once they are imported into payroll system;
  • Prepare reports (internal and external) and information as required;
  • Preparation and processing of pay runs using SAP and a Time in Attendance System;
  • Process all aspects including payroll tax, superannuation, leave and entitlements;
  • Awards and EBA interpretation;
  • Manage end to end payroll for up to 250 employees;
  • Preparation of the fortnightly payroll for Australia as well as New Zealand;
  • Manage the payroll process for a weekly payroll of 800+ employees;
  • Short Term Contract with potential extension;
  • Ensure compliance and timely processing of PAYG, STP, Payroll Tax and superannuation;
  • Control the entire life cycle of the employee including processing new starters and terminationsu3000;
  • Responsive to all payroll enquiries ensuring ensuring excellence in customer service for employees & external stakeholders;
  • Creation, maintenance and termination of employee master data;
  • Liaise with Payroll Software Client Support on system-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Implementation experience;
  • Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of MS Word;
  • High level communication skills;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure the security of sensitive information at all times;
  • Initial six month contract in Brisbane CBD;
  • Multiple Positions Available at a large Fed Gov Department;
  • 3 – 6 Month Contract / Non-Ongoing positions;
  • Coaching and development of junior staff;
  • SAP Success Factors experience (or exposure) is advantageous; and;
  • Short Term Contract with potential extension;
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills;
  • High Profile State Government Department;
  • Senior Project Officer (Stakeholder Engagement)- Grade 9/10;
  • Initial 4 month contract | immediate start;
  • Deep understanding of awards and payroll legislation.
