Our company is looking for a Senior Finance/Payroll Officer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing payroll on a fortnightly basis;
  • Prepare reports for internal projects and grants;
  • Assist the Finance Manager with other duties;
  • Prepare month end journals and reconciliations for payroll;
  • Attending to payroll related queries.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised;
  • Administration skills with financial data and payroll processing experience essential;
  • Excellent organisational and motivational skills;
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines;
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information for financial reporting;
  • High level communication and negotiation skills;
  • Willingness to be adaptive and work within a multi skilled environment;
  • Highly developed computer skills including experience in Xero accounting software or equivalent and Microsoft office suite.
