Maintenance Planner/ Scheduler Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Maintenance Planner/ Scheduler to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a strong safety culture utilizing the Newcrest Safety Transformation plan to help with approach, delivery and direction;
- Undertake detailed job planning that incorporates, materials, labour and documentation that supports safe and efficient execution;
- Facilitate shutdown tracking and post shutdown review meetings in line with the Maintenance Operating System process.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of Maintenance strategies and SAP master data;
- Experience with scheduling in SAP or other ERP systems is desirable;
- Experience with MS Projects and understanding of project flows is an advantage;
- Supporting area superintendent with their Zero Based Budget development;
- Creating work orders from notifications using tasks lists, and adding required planning information;
- Liaising with production advisors and maintenance team leaders to identify efficient and effective scheduling requirements;
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with planning/scheduling;
- Providing advice, training and support to operational team members in relation to the Asset Management and Work Management Processes.
