VFL Men’s Match Day Bench Coach Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a VFL Men’s Match Day Bench Coach to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage communication and directives between players and the coaching staff on the interchange bench to and from the coaches box;
- In consultation with the Head Coach and Line coaches provide ground level coaching to players from the interchange bench;
- Work with Strength and Conditioning staff to oversee player rotations during matches;
- Attend all Home and Away Season matches.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 1 coaching qualification;
- Excellent football knowledge;
- Ability to attend all Match Day’s and some training sessions;
- Minimum previous experience at a senior community, state league, AFL or TAC level;
- Highly developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to display a high level of discretion, judgement, personal commitment & work ethics;
- A thorough understanding of game strategies, playing styles, and tactics.
