Senior Regulatory Analyst APAC Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Regulatory Analyst APAC to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Engagement with the Sales, Pre-Sales, Marketing and Public Relations teams supporting new and existing client engagements and industry initiatives;
- Provide thought leadership, research and preparation of in-depth regulatory evaluation/papers and rulesets;
- Support training and knowledge transfer across the organisation;
- Create detailed functional specification documentation for the Fenergo product in line with company and industry best practices;
- Work in partnership and close collaboration with our clients in understanding their regulatory needs and prescribing a solution;
- Produce briefing documents and impact assessments that can be understood by business and technical colleagues;
- Act as Fenergo’ s Regulatory Subject Matter Expert to both internal and external stakeholders;
- Support the creation and delivery of the ‘Regulatory Update’ deliverables to existing clients;
- Support the management in scoping, scheduling and delivery of regulatory roadmap and releases;
- Provide on-going support to the Product Management Team in delivery of product functionality.
Requirements:
- Excellent stakeholder management skills;
- University degree required;
- Ability to take ownership for delivering quality, accurate analysis in a clear and concise manner;
- 7+ years within regulatory compliance with significant experience in Client Lifecycle Management (AML OTC Reform, Tax, Investor Protection);
- Experience in the APAC regulatory landscape; ASIC, MAS, HKMA;
- Ability to identify solutions that satisfy relevant regulations while executing sound business judgement;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to explain complex concepts in a crisp, clear, concise and graphic rich style;
- Software development lifecycle practices advantageous;
- Recognised legal or regulatory qualification advantageous;
- The successful candidate must be confident at interacting at a senior client facing level;
- Demonstrable regulatory/compliance experience across multiple jurisdictions.
