Our company is looking for a Solutions Engineering Manager, ANZ to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Present and represent Cloudera at conferences, forums, and seminars;
  • Manage multiple customer opportunities concurrently;
  • Manage a team that presents complex sales and engineering proposals to C-level executives at Fortune 500 companies;
  • Attract, develop, and motivate a team of talented, high-performing Solutions Engineers;
  • Works with sales function in the development of account plans for larger clients;
  • Continually seek to innovative new solutions for customers, and team effectiveness;
  • Act as the technical executive sponsor for our largest customers;
  • Develop operating mechanisms to make team operation predictable and scalable;
  • Manage and support the Solutions Engineering team through the entire sales cycle, building trust and confidence in our products and people;
  • Provides product and solutions training and education to sales and other areas of the company as needed;
  • Provides input on product development or enhancements to existing products to product marketing function;
  • Take joint-ownership with the sales leadership team for the sales targets for your territory.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully implement processes that drive performance and increase scalability;
  • Strong project management skills;
  • Strong oral and written communications, and presentation skills;
  • Motivated leader who has a proven track record of tightly managing continuous process improvement in a data driven way;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Experience working in fast paced, high-growth environments;
  • 5+ years as a Solutions Engineer with 2+ years of experience managing a Solutions Engineering team at an Enterprise Software company;
  • Influential and credible with technical buyers and executives;
  • Degree in Engineering or Computer Science from a top University. Master in Business Administration is a plus;
  • Strong team leadership capabilities;
  • Ability to accommodate 50% travel;
  • Experience leading RFI/RFP and contracting processes;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong customer relationship and people skills.
