Senior HR Advisor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Work on the end-to-end recruitment process;
- Provide advice to managers and employees on dispute, grievance, disciplinary and performance matters and investigate when needed;
- General administration, data entry and HR duties as required to assist the HR team;
- Assist and provide support with Workers Compensation and WHS matters during periods of leave;
- Assisting with various HR Projects and training programs across the Group;
- Contract management and administration;
- Assist with recruitment processes as required;
- Provide advice, support and assistance for managers and staff on employee relations matters;
- Maintain a cooperative relationship with the union;
- Work collaboratively with the HR team (12 across Australia) to coordinate and manage projects associated with Human Resources;
- Onboarding and coordination any L&D needs and training;
- Employee relations;
- Talent management advice and support;
- Engagement and culture;
- Partner with regional and local management to achieve their business and leadership objectives by providing support and assistance with HR planning.
Requirements:
- Tertiary Qualifications in HR or related discipline;
- Minimum of 3 years local HR experience;
- Strong industrial relations experience preferred;
- Strong initiative, problem solving and analytical skills;
- Experience as an HR generalist and experience in IR/ER;
- Demonstrated ability to develop business partnerships with all levels and in geographically dispersed locations;
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources;
- Strong confident communication & interpersonal skills;
- Solution focused with strong influencing skills; and;
- Experience working in a fluid and changing environment;
- Solid understanding of Australian Employment Legislation;
- Understanding of the Australian Industrial Relations System and EEO practices and principles as they apply within the state.
