Our company is looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work to maintain customer satisfaction; respond to customers in a timely manner; ensure the customer has proper alignment with Customer Success;
  • Maintain a rolling 90-day pipeline to meet or exceed ARR quota;
  • Nurture prospects and current customers; cross-sell and upsell existing subscribers;
  • Drive a value-based sales process and manage a defined sales territory (e.g., identify, develop, and close new business opportunities);
  • Meet or exceed KPI targets based on number of calls, LinkedIn messages, sales engineering requests and opportunities closed;
  • Document key findings, progress, insights, and pipeline velocity in Salesforce.com;
  • Negotiate on the prices of contracts that are related to the sales activities;
  • Tracks customer activity in internal systems in order to execute on account strategy and identify additional opportunities;
  • Owns the overall account relationship driving customer satisfaction for assigned territory accounts;
  • Stays across the latest domain trends and competitive intel by undertaking regular training and enablement;
  • Establishes and maintains influential client relationships to ultimately drive revenue growth;
  • Understand the needs of the company, actively participates in sales meetings and quarterly business reviews;
  • Cultivates senior customer relationships and ensures effective service delivery to accounts;
  • Grows revenue at designated accounts to achieve both our customers and Cloudera’s strategic business objectives;
  • Engages Cloudera technical experts and specialists where required, maintaining oversight of all account activities.

Requirements:

  • Relevant work experience is defined as 3+ years of sales experience with a minimum of 1 year in a commission-based hunter sales role;
  • 8+ years of demonstrated successful Enterprise Software sales or Cloud based solutions;
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills;
  • Self-motivated, quick thinker and ability to perform in high pressure situations;
  • Bachelors degree AND 3 years of relevant work experience OR some post-secondary education AND 3 years of relevant work experience;
