Our company is looking for a Project Officer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder liaison and communication both internally and externally;
  • Set project objectives for elements of the project and ensure that they are delivered on time and to budget;
  • Coordinate and undertake research and analysis relating to the project;
  • The assessment and preparation of recommendations across multiple aged care programs regulated under the Aged care Act 1997;
  • Replicate, modify and update congregational websites utilising WordPress operating system for the Congregational Website Program;
  • Assisting in documenting business requirements;
  • Attendance at stakeholder meetings which includes taking and preparing meeting minutes, managing invoices and other general tasks, as required;
  • Manage and maintain local records and document management databases and assist senior team members with electronic records management;
  • Development and management of project plans and documentation;
  • Apply basic quality practices and processes;
  • Contribute actively towards continuous improvement in the workplace;
  • General administrative duties as required;
  • Prepare and submit high quality briefings and correspondence to the minister and senior leadership;
  • Input data into relevant systems;
  • Management of program logistics and delivery activities.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Understanding of client-side projects and experience in the mining industry is desirable;
  • Effective time management and organisational skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication;
  • Experience in providing project lead and support;
  • Ability to manage sensitive information and maintain a high degree of confidentiality;
  • A proven track record of “thinking outside of the box” and problem solving capabilities;
  • Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal and customer service skills;
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills;
  • Previous experience developing or managing maintenance strategies will be highly regarded;
  • Strong experience and competence in relevant Microsoft and project software;
  • Well-developed ability to use initiative, think laterally and strategically;
  • Current drivers licence;
  • Government experience is highly desirable;
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills.
