Our company is looking for a Project Engineering Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Tracking performance KPIs, root cause analysis of problems and complete associated corrective actions;
- Working with the Project Manager to ensure the engineering scope is delivered within the quality, time and cost constraints of the project;
- Liaising with the Discipline Engineering Lead(s) to identify the engineering skills needed for the project, and to secure properly skilled resources;
- Organising design and system engineering reviews and approve the main engineering and technical deliverables;
- Providing engineering reports and identifying continuous improvement opportunities;
- Conducting project controls activities and fulfil the role of Work Package Manager (WPM) and/or Control Account Manager (CAM) as required;
- Customer liaison to ensure that engineering and technical requirements are adequately understood and commitments are met;
- Workplace Health and Safety;
- Professional analysis, scheduling, planning, reporting and project controls support to a range of projects;
- Manage the engineering activities in accordance with the approved engineering plan;
- Building and enhancing stakeholder relationships;
- Client relationship management;
- Support the project’s overall objectives;
- Providing direct support to our Clients in planning, cost control, estimating and/or reporting;
- Sub-contractor technical management.
Requirements:
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and strong decision making ability;
- You must be an Australian Citizen to apply for this position;
- You must have a tertiary qualification(s) in Engineering;
- A Masters of Engineering degree in C4I centric discipline (e.g. Communications, Information Systems, Software, Electrical) is highly regarded;
- Project management qualifications.
