Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of customer correspondence and respond to tenders;
  • Follow up marketing plays within allocated account group;
  • Develop and maintain the Premier pages for corporate customers on the Internet;
  • Maintain customer database;
  • Preparation of timely and accurate quotations/orders to meet customer requests;
  • Analysis and preparation of sales and customer reports to assist Sales Management in the evaluation of customers;
  • Maintain awareness of IT industry conditions in particular competitors’ products and pricing;
  • Proactive calling into identified prospects to identify opportunities in order to achieve revenue targets;
  • Servicing inbound presales / sales-based enquiries;

  • Routing large sales opportunities to the appropriate referral point;
  • Develop appropriate sales pipeline by proactive outbound calling to acquisition accounts to develop relationships and uncover opportunities to pursue;

Requirements:

  • Strong organisational skills;
  • Previous Account Management and Sales experience within the IT sector (2-5 years);
  • Experience in relationship selling or appropriate industry experience/exposure;
  • Well-developed negotiation and sales persuasion skills;
  • Consultative selling skills;
  • Self-motivated, well organised and able to work well within a team;
  • Strong Customer Service ethic;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Strategic thinker.
