Finance Officer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Finance Officer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Payment plan negotiation;
- Processing new starters, terminations, leave and pay runs weekly;
- Ensuring rents and bonds transactions in MYOB match with property management software, Chintaro & Console;
- Payroll (back up);
- Deliver analytical reporting to the Executive and Ausvet Board;
- Undertake the reconciliation of expenses undertaken within projects;
- Fixed Assets;
- Assist with reconciliation preparation of the Public Trustee’s accounting systems, associated accounts and assets register;
- Cash flow reporting;
- Conduct forensic accounting activities;
- Prepare and facilitate the company’s payroll process and fortnightly payroll reports;
- Generating debtors invoices and following up on debtor payment;
- Commission reconciliations;
- Responding to billing enquiries;
- Processing salary sacrifice arrangements.
Requirements:
- Fixed Assets;
- Experience with MYOB or a similar accounting software;
- Experience with Netsuite;
- Payroll (back up);
- Accruals;
- Strong written and communication skills;
- Accounts Payable (back up);
- Knowledge of accounting standards and processes;
- Foreign Exchange;
- Ability to multitask & possess strong attention to detail;
- Accounts Receivable (back up);
- Commission reconciliations;
- Degree in Accounting;
- 3-years experience in a similar position;
- Driven and strong in character.
