Our company is looking for a Finance Officer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Payment plan negotiation;
  • Processing new starters, terminations, leave and pay runs weekly;
  • Ensuring rents and bonds transactions in MYOB match with property management software, Chintaro & Console;
  • Payroll (back up);
  • Deliver analytical reporting to the Executive and Ausvet Board;
  • Undertake the reconciliation of expenses undertaken within projects;
  • Fixed Assets;
  • Assist with reconciliation preparation of the Public Trustee’s accounting systems, associated accounts and assets register;
  • Cash flow reporting;
  • Conduct forensic accounting activities;
  • Prepare and facilitate the company’s payroll process and fortnightly payroll reports;
  • Generating debtors invoices and following up on debtor payment;
  • Commission reconciliations;
  • Responding to billing enquiries;
  • Processing salary sacrifice arrangements.

Requirements:

  • Fixed Assets;
  • Experience with MYOB or a similar accounting software;
  • Experience with Netsuite;
  • Payroll (back up);
  • Accruals;
  • Strong written and communication skills;
  • Accounts Payable (back up);
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and processes;
  • Foreign Exchange;
  • Ability to multitask & possess strong attention to detail;
  • Accounts Receivable (back up);
  • Commission reconciliations;
  • Degree in Accounting;
  • 3-years experience in a similar position;
  • Driven and strong in character.
