Our company is looking for a Finance Director to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Finance and budgeting functions;
  • Preparation of key internal and external reporting to the Finance Committee, senior management and the Department of Health & Human Services;
  • Work with senior staff to further develop the business’ short and long term Strategic and Business Plans;
  • Lead and direct a professional and competent finance team;
  • Assess quality improvement and performance in relation to existing and future systems;
  • Oversee the development and administration of the capital expenditure planning and budgeting process including being a key member of the company;
  • Provides information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person;
  • Provide high-level advice, briefings, reports and correspondence;
  • Manage the company’s performance reporting, including preparing its annual report;
  • Provide appropriation and cash management services;
  • Manage the external budget process and internal recurrent budget process;
  • Communicates financial concepts in a clear and persuasive manner that is easy to understand and drives desired behaviours;
  • Attends critique meetings to review information with management team;
  • Manage the provision of corporate services including developing and managing Service Level Agreements.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Proficiency in Birchstreet purchasing system;
  • Proficiency in PeopleSoft accounting system or similar;
  • Proficiency in Micros Simphony POS;
  • Proficiency in Opera PMS.
