Our company is looking for a Director, North America Brand Counsel to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead educational sessions for legal group and company;
  • Select and manage external counsel and associated spend.

Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain an independent and objective perspective while developing and maintaining a strong partnership with the client organizations;
  • Active membership and in good standing with the applicable state bar;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills;
  • J.D., licensed to practice law in the state in which you practice;
  • Up to 20% domestic (and Canada) travel;
  • Experience supporting a pharmaceutical commercialized brand required;
  • High level of business ethics;
  • Effective decision making; proven ability to assess and calibrate and effectively communicate legal risks to senior management and other stakeholders;
  • A high level of intellectual, professional and interpersonal agility and flexibility, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Team oriented, with a good sense of humor, sound judgment, self-motivation and willingness to take initiative;
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical in-house commercial product matters;
  • Well-organized and hardworking, with the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously under deadline pressure;
  • Sound conflict resolution skills and ability to work in a collaborative, global environment.
