Director, North America Brand Counsel Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Director, North America Brand Counsel to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead educational sessions for legal group and company;
- Select and manage external counsel and associated spend.
Requirements:
- Ability to maintain an independent and objective perspective while developing and maintaining a strong partnership with the client organizations;
- Active membership and in good standing with the applicable state bar;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills;
- J.D., licensed to practice law in the state in which you practice;
- Up to 20% domestic (and Canada) travel;
- Experience supporting a pharmaceutical commercialized brand required;
- High level of business ethics;
- Effective decision making; proven ability to assess and calibrate and effectively communicate legal risks to senior management and other stakeholders;
- A high level of intellectual, professional and interpersonal agility and flexibility, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Team oriented, with a good sense of humor, sound judgment, self-motivation and willingness to take initiative;
- 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical in-house commercial product matters;
- Well-organized and hardworking, with the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously under deadline pressure;
- Sound conflict resolution skills and ability to work in a collaborative, global environment.
