DGG Channel Partner Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a DGG Channel Partner Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Support the channel partner reps at customer sites through solution-oriented presentations;
- With the team drive strategic plans and program, ensuring the efficient execution of those plans;
- Ability to manage sales funnel, forecast, territory information, market trends & other business data;
- Engage in collaborations with customers, channel partner reps and other business partners;
- Present regular reviews and operational plans to all levels of partner management;
- Reduce concepts & strategies into structured programs to achieve assigned performance measures;
- Work with the channel partners and customers to understand customers’ needs or problems;
- Monitor & lead the development of indirect sales strategies and business plan;
- Lead the development and implementation of strategy development for complex and value accounts;
- To project steer complex negotiations knowing when to pull in relevant players from the team;
- Consistently meets sales goals of indirect sales business working with channel partners;
- Ensure customer delight through close connections with client base, service and support teams;
- Driving sales revenue target through building a strong indirect channel partner network;
- Participate in marketing events and conferences to showcase Agilent’s DGG solutions to customers;
- Ensure business operations are in compliance with Agilent’s uncompromising standards.
Requirements:
- Sales experience in the field of molecular biology will be a plus;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s level degree in Genomics or related discipline;
- Motivated self-starter with energy and enthusiasm to succeed in this exciting and challenging role;
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural, remote team dealing with difficult, multiple priorities;
- A working knowledge of Genomics is a must and Pathology products will be an added advantage;
- Must be based in Sydney or Melbourne with an ability to travel 50% of the time;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Microsoft office proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel);
- Experience of handling indirect channel sales is highly desirable;
- Minimum 5 years multi-disciplined sales experience OR demonstrated career progression within industry including management development.
