Senior Physiotherapist Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Physiotherapist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Providing mentorship and goal setting to team members;
- Supervision and implementation of speciality programs;
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessment;
- Work within budgets and strict deadlines;
- Participate in leadership trainings;
- Provide evidence driven patient centred physiotherapy care within the within the Physiotherapy Service THS-S;
- Developing innovative treatment plans;
- Provide clinical expertise and professional education to Physiotherapy, Allied Health, Medical and Nursing Teams, and external agencies;
- Foster innovation and support Quality Improvement and Service Delivery projects;
- Providing rehabilitation and falls prevention initiatives to residents Implementing & managing pain management clinics;
- Regular reviews and reporting to senior management.
Requirements:
- Experience providing supervision;
- Driver`s license is essential;
- Experience working in private practice, rehabilitation and/ or community settings;
- Empathetic and friendly demeanour with the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of clients, families and stakeholders;
- Experience in NDIS clinical service delivery (highly desirable);
- Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy, current AHPRA registration, current professional indemnity insurance.
