Our company is looking for a Auto Electrician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Working on a range of Light to Heavy Vehicles and Plant;
- Repairs, Maintenance and diagnostics;
- Coordinate product assembly and fitting with the Production Manager to ensure delivery priorities are met;
- Auto electrical repairs and maintenance on UG mobile plant mining equipment;
- Field and workshop-based work, in a team and autonomously;
- Air Conditioning repairs to Heavy Vehicles;
- Compliance with company QA and OHS standards and procedures;
- To operate machinery, forklifts, and hand tools according to industry standards and Hammelmann Australia safe working procedures;
- accessory fitment to Heavy Vehicles;
- Assembly and wiring of products including custom built trailers;
- Working alongside other safety conscious and experienced tradesman;
- General repairs of GPS, communication and air-con systems in mobile equipment;
- Electrical repairs to Heavy Vehicles both in workshop and on client site if needed;
- Apply company design standards and procedures.
Requirements:
- Ability to supervise and train apprentices;
- Drivers License;
- 5 years + experience in auto electrician trade;
- Experience in quoting and estimating jobs;
- Current drivers licence;
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of equipment installation, ensuring equipment is functional;
- Work accurate with safe working practices and follow all policies and procedures;
- Ability to work independently and upon instruction;
- Current ARC Licence (Refrigeration);
- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent;
- Technical knowledge in the use of equipment and machinery;
- Excellent communication and organisational skills;
- Current Trade Certificate;
- Minimum Certificate III or IV Automotive Electrical qualification;
- Minimum of 4 years experience.
