Our company is looking for a academic manager – elicos to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, implement and monitor the course learning plans, program material and assessment tools;
  • Must be available to perform teaching duties (one day a week minimum) as part of the role including cover any yeacher absenteeism;
  • Actively and regulalry supervise teacher activities, and offer assistance and guidance;
  • Maintain a high level of interaction with helping and assisting students with their goals and ensuring students are happy and learning;
  • Co-ordinate the day to day academic/education and related activities of the ELICOS College;
  • Prepare and implement ELICOS timetables;
  • Prepare, document, submit and drive approvals for new English language courses;
  • Maintain compliance with ASQA standards; and have a good understanding of compliance regulations – ESOS and National Standards;
  • Recruit, manage and supervise the ELICOS academic team;
  • Regularly meet the upper management of the college and make relevant business decisions;
  • Work with sales and marketing team and develop offerings and programmes that will enhance the standing of the college.

Requirements:

  • TESOL qualification at postgraduate diploma level or above;
  • Recognised degree or equivalent;
  • Five years experience in managing and/or teaching ELT programs.
