Senior Test Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Test Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Testing in agile projects using manual and automation tools;
- Manage vendors in the delivery of testing services;
- Design and improve methodologies to ensure systems can be migrated from a development environment through to implementation;
- Develop and implement testing solutions for new and existing projects and operational changes;
- Perform Static Test reviews of the Business Requirements/Functional Specification documents;
- Execute testing;
- Develop the required testing and validation artefacts for operational changes and provide mentoring to key business users on testing practices;
- Develop test conditions and test cases for phase level testing;
- ASAP start for 12 month contract with option for permanency;
- Client requires minimum baseline security clearance;
- Test data requirements to complete test execution;
- Raise test defects in appropriate system.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge on writing test cases;
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies: Waterfall, Iterative and Agile;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Ability to design and execute reusable test procedures, cases and scripts;
- problem solving and root cause identification skills;
- Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels;
- Experienced and proficient in software testing techniques, authoring, review and application of test cases;
- Client requires minimum baseline security clearance;
- Demonstrated defect reporting and management experience – test dashboards & test matrix;
- ASAP start for 12 month contract with option for permanency;
- Strong, proven testing experience;
- Experience leading small test teams to complete testing activities;
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a project team environment;
- Ability to acquire business knowledge of various business applications by utilising test plans;
- Extensive skills in the testing and implementation of ICT solutions, services, business systems, and processes.
