Our company is looking for a Team Leader to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading our Retail team on shift;
  • Selling our famous and unique doughnuts;
  • Making delicious coffee and drinks;
  • Keeping your store clean and welcoming for your customers;
  • Serving our customers (with a smile );
  • Ensuring housekeeping and safe working practices are adhered to, promoting safety policies and procedures on an ongoing basis;
  • Building and promoting a team environment focused on working collaboratively;
  • Meeting team performance targets;
  • Completing administrative tasks associated with managing the team including management of leave, time and attendance and injury management;
  • Leading, motivating and engaging team members;
  • The use of effective communication techniques;
  • Conducting team member assessments of competence;
  • Focusing on the continuous improvement of systems and processes.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work on a high pressure environment and manage strict deadlines;
  • Remediation or Financial Services experience, preferred but not essential;
  • Ability to communicate feedback in an effective manner to improve team member’s performance and maintain positive team culture;
  • Recent experience leading a team of at least 10 to 15 compliance administrators;
  • Ability to mentor and coach;
  • Excellent communication skills; including written, and verbal;
  • Articulate and professional;
  • Ability to have tough conversations;
  • Knowledge of NSW Child Protection policies and legislation;
  • The ability to build relationships;
  • Proven capability as a leader;
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership capacity within the OOHC or Community Services Sector;
  • A demonstrated experience in either child protection or Residential OOHC Services;
  • Confident with systems and administrative duties;
  • Experience working within a Therapeutic Framework model of care.
