Site Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Site Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Promoting and maintaining safe work protocols at all times;
- Works and program planning;
- Establish ITP’s at commencement of the project;
- Sub contractor selection & supervision;
- Ensure ITP’s are coordinated and signed off in accordance with project requirements;
- Manage defect rectification;
- Fostering positive relationships with sub-contractors;
- Provide feedback and information to all relevant departments;
- Conducting daily site inspections and managing job rounds to ensure the most efficient job flow and progress possible;
- Assist with supervision of sites of up to 1 million dollars;
- Induct subcontractors and site employees;
- Site Management of Commercial Build / Fit-Out & Refurbishment Projects;
- Record daily site activities in site diary;
- Ensuring all finishes are completed to the highest standards & quality;
- Coordination of all aspects of construction.
Requirements:
- Best practice in OH&S and IR;
- Programming, scheduling and working out crucial time lines;
- A track record in greenfield commercial construction methods – in ground services, precast tilt panels and structural steel;
- Exposure to building services associated with industrial builds;
- Knowledge of GE information and management systems such as e-Tools and Oracle;
- Demonstrated decision making and team building skills;
- Leadership and management skills;
- Good IT skills;
- Exceptional safety leadership ability;
- Relevant trade qualifications and significant experience in construction;
- Proven success in delivering major building projects at a Site Manager level;
- A stable employment history;
- Sound decision-making abilities;
- Familiarity with industrial relations issues and resolution practices.
