Our company is looking for a Site Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Promoting and maintaining safe work protocols at all times;
  • Works and program planning;
  • Establish ITP’s at commencement of the project;
  • Sub contractor selection & supervision;
  • Ensure ITP’s are coordinated and signed off in accordance with project requirements;
  • Manage defect rectification;
  • Fostering positive relationships with sub-contractors;
  • Provide feedback and information to all relevant departments;
  • Conducting daily site inspections and managing job rounds to ensure the most efficient job flow and progress possible;
  • Assist with supervision of sites of up to 1 million dollars;
  • Induct subcontractors and site employees;
  • Site Management of Commercial Build / Fit-Out & Refurbishment Projects;
  • Record daily site activities in site diary;
  • Ensuring all finishes are completed to the highest standards & quality;
  • Coordination of all aspects of construction.

Requirements:

  • Best practice in OH&S and IR;
  • Programming, scheduling and working out crucial time lines;
  • A track record in greenfield commercial construction methods – in ground services, precast tilt panels and structural steel;
  • Exposure to building services associated with industrial builds;
  • Knowledge of GE information and management systems such as e-Tools and Oracle;
  • Demonstrated decision making and team building skills;
  • Leadership and management skills;
  • Good IT skills;
  • Exceptional safety leadership ability;
  • Relevant trade qualifications and significant experience in construction;
  • Proven success in delivering major building projects at a Site Manager level;
  • A stable employment history;
  • Sound decision-making abilities;
  • Familiarity with industrial relations issues and resolution practices.
