Our company is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Report on project status, including cash flow forecasting, labour forecasting and variation claims;
  • Challenging the business on current ways of working and thinking to determine best target processes;
  • Provide onsite leadership and day to day management of site-based teams;
  • Creating and maintaining project stakeholder and governance structures;
  • Develop, monitor and oversee multiple complex projects concurrently, ensuring that required processes and governance are in place;
  • Contribute to the communication and change management plan;
  • Provide advice to the Steering Committee on all aspects of the project;
  • Commercial and contractual management;
  • Attendance and or delegation of tender site briefings and the subsequent input into tender strategy;
  • Delegating and effectively communicating responsibilities to team;
  • Project management, works planning and program delivery;
  • Monitoring and implementation of HSEQ management;
  • Responsible for resolving issues, managing client expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction;
  • Building and fostering excellent working relationships with clients;
  • Liaise closely with the Human Resources team for the provision and support of recruitment of staff across the region.

Requirements:

  • High professionalism, whilst responding to demanding clients;
  • Proven track record in successful project delivery of multi projects;
  • Proven ability and experience in managing client relationships and expectations;
  • Diploma in architectural technology, construction technology, or engineering technology;
  • Extensive knowledge of the construction industry including development, contracting and consulting sectors;
  • Tertiary degree or higher qualification;
  • Ability to maintain strong client / employee relationships;
  • Strong financial acumen and commercial smarts;
  • Understand the whole development process and industry;
  • A proven track record of working both autonomously and in a team;
  • Professional, organized, diligent and a logical thinker;
  • Motivates team and celebrates achievements;
  • Demonstrated experience working on major technology development & delivery projects;
  • Provide advice to the Steering Committee on all aspects of the project;
  • Success at building and managing critical client relationships.
